Behavior One

Individualized ABA therapy for children with autism

Behavior One delivers individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy designed to help children build communication, independence, and confidence. Our work is rooted in science, guided by compassion, and centered on outcomes that matter.

We focus on progress, not hours. Every program is custom-built around your child’s needs, goals, and strengths; ensuring that each session moves them closer to meaningful growth at home, in school, and in the community.

Our Approach

Evidence-based. Family-centered. Outcome-driven.

We believe the best therapy happens when families and clinicians work as partners. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) design programs that use evidence-based ABA principles while staying sensitive to each child’s personality and context. We emphasize dignity, natural learning opportunities, and collaboration at every step.

Our sessions blend structured skill acquisition with natural play and daily routines, allowing skills to generalize beyond therapy. Progress is tracked continuously and reviewed with families so that every goal remains transparent, measurable, and achievable.

Our Services

Behavior One currently provides in-home ABA therapy throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with clinic-based services coming soon. Our programs are designed to meet each child's individual needs while empowering families through evidence-based care and meaningful collaboration.

Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI)

Our EIBI programs provide focused, individualized therapy for young children with autism. We build foundational skills in communication, play, and daily routines to promote long-term independence and learning.

Individualized Assessments and Treatment Planning

Every program begins with a thorough assessment conducted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Using data from direct observation, caregiver input, and standardized tools, we develop measurable goals and a personalized treatment plan for each child.

Trauma-Informed Care

Our team applies trauma-informed principles to ensure that every child feels safe, understood, and respected. We recognize the impact of past experiences and tailor interventions to promote trust, emotional regulation, and positive engagement.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration with Other Providers

We coordinate care with speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and medical professionals to support each child’s overall development and ensure alignment across disciplines.

Caregiver Training and Coachin

We believe family involvement is essential for success. Our team provides hands-on coaching and ongoing support so caregivers can confidently apply behavior strategies at home and in the community.

School Readiness and Collaboration with Teachers

We prepare children to transition successfully into school by teaching classroom readiness skills such as following instructions, sustaining attention, and working with peers. We also collaborate with teachers and educational staff to ensure consistency across environments.

Social Skills Supports

Our clinicians use evidence-based strategies to help children build meaningful relationships. Sessions focus on turn-taking, perspective-taking, emotion regulation, and cooperative play in natural settings.

Behavior Reduction and Self-Regulation

We design individualized interventions to reduce challenging behaviors and teach replacement skills. Our approach emphasizes emotional regulation, positive reinforcement, and safety across settings.

Our Process

How it Works

1. Connect: Start with a free consultation where we learn about your child, your goals, and your current supports.

2. Coordinate: If a formal diagnosis is needed, we assist with referrals and help navigate insurance coverage.

3. Plan: Your BCBA designs an individualized program with measurable goals and a clear path forward.

4. Deliver: Our clinicians provide in-home ABA sessions that balance structure, play, and real-world learning.

5. Review: We track progress and adjust goals regularly to ensure continued success.

Starting therapy shouldn't be complicated. Our process is designed to make it clear, supportive, and family-centered from the first call to the first session..

Insurance Coverage and Billing Support

Behavior One accepts most major insurance plans and is continually expanding our network of contracted payors. If we’re not yet in network with your provider, our team can guide you through the process of setting up an out-of-network agreement so your child can still receive services with minimal interruption.

We know insurance can feel complicated — that’s why we handle benefit verification, authorizations, and paperwork so you can focus on what matters most: your child’s progress.
